A lawsuit entitled Donna Barone v. Aqua New Jersey, Inc. The complaint alleges that Aqua violated a drinking water requirement regarding disinfecting the water supply which resulted in the Aqua Notice being sent to approximately 14,000 households in the Blackwood, NJ, area advising persons with certain medical conditions to seek medical advice. The complaint sought to obtain reimbursement for any Class Member who received a medical bill that was not covered by insurance as a result of receiving the Aqua Notice. Aqua denies any wrongdoing and denies the claims and allegations asserted by Plaintiff and maintains that it is not responsible to reimburse anyone for sending out the Aqua Notice.
